Prepare the vegetables. Peel and finely chop the onion and carrot. Cut the streaky bacon into strips, and finely chop the rosemary.
Heat a frying pan over medium/high heat. Add some olive oil, and once hot add the bacon and cook until golden. Add the onion and carrot with a pinch of salt and cook until soft. Then stir through the rosemary.
Meanwhile cook the pasta according to instructions, and be sure to keep some pasta water.
Add the Smoky Tomato Sauce to the vegetables and bacon and cook for 2-3 mins until heated through.
Transfer the pasta immediately to the sauce, with a splash of pasta water and stir to coat the pasta in the sauce.
Serve the pasta with some basil leaves, grated parmesan and chili flakes.
